Will Ainsworth | Hi! My name is Will Ainsworth and I am a Junior at Vestavia Hills High School. I am so excited to be the 11th grade representative for Homecoming King. It is an honor to have been given this opportunity, and I intend to raise as much money as I possibly can for Equip services. In my free time, I enjoy playing football for Vestavia, hunting, and hanging out with my buddies. A fun fact about me is that I started my own business, Iron City Firewood, when I was 14 years old. What motivates me most is a Bible verse that comes from Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.¨ Thank you so much for the support. I can't wait to make a difference!

William Hurt | William is an active 10th grader at Vestavia Hills High School. Throughout his life, he has always had a servant's heart and has a passion for helping and serving others. William is an active member of Vestavia Hills Methodist Church and enjoys serving others through mission trips such as Appalachian Service Project. Last spring, he was a VHHS RISE team captain, helping his school raise money for O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center. As a student, William enjoys challenging himself with a variety of honors courses. He excels in math and science and hopes to pursue a career in engineering or building science after high school. He is a member of the Vestavia Hills Junior Varsity football team where he plays as an offensive lineman. He is a die hard Auburn fan and loves watching football, basketball and baseball. When not at school, William enjoys hunting, fishing and being around his friends and family.

Jake Cesnick | Hi, I’m Jake Cesnick! I’m the homecoming king nominee for the freshman class at VHHS and am very honored to represent my class. Here’s a little bit about me. I’m the oldest of three kids, and I have a dog named Mac. I love spending time with friends and cheering on Alabama. I’m also on the basketball team at VHHS. I can’t wait to raise money and awareness for the fall charity this year, EQUIP!

Tad Boryczka | Hello! I am Tad Boryczka, and I am a senior at Vestavia Hills High School. I am honored to be nominated as the representative of the Vestavia Hills High School Rebel Marching Band. In the marching band, I play bass drum. I am on the varsity bowling team, and I volunteer through RISE at Vestavia Hills High School. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and my two dogs, Rosie and Alice. I am a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, and I also work at Troup’s Pizza in Cahaba Heights. One thing I enjoy about working at Troup’s Pizza is that I get to serve people. Whether that means assisting customers find something on the menu or ensuring their order is delivered correctly, I enjoy helping people.

This is why I am so grateful for the opportunity to help raise money for EQUIP. It means so much to me knowing that I can help people in my community by giving them new opportunities that could change their lives forever.
